Who we are

SkyGlide Ltd ("we", "us") provides construction filming and timelapse services across the UK. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@sky-glide.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address, telephone number and the details of your enquiry. We use it solely to respond to you and to scope and deliver the work you ask about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where an enquiry leads to work, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

We do not use your details for marketing lists, we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use them for automated decision-making.

Who processes it

Enquiry form submissions are processed on our behalf by Netlify, our website hosting provider, and delivered to our email. Netlify acts as a data processor and stores form submissions on our behalf. Our email is our own business system. We do not pass your information to anyone else unless required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, contact details and project correspondence are kept for the duration of the work and for 6 years afterwards, in line with normal contractual record-keeping.

Filming and site work

Our aerial and timelapse work is carried out under CAA authorisation with site-specific risk assessments. Cameras are positioned and operated to document sites and works, not individuals. Where long-duration cameras are installed on a site, signage and data-handling arrangements are agreed with the site operator as part of the project documentation. If you believe you appear in footage we have captured and want to discuss it, contact us at the address above.

Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are in the world, and which routes lead to an enquiry. This is measurement of site usage, not advertising profiling, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google sets cookies on your device to do this; Google’s privacy policy applies to that processing, and you can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site also uses fonts served by Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google’s servers. The client area, portal and camera pages carry no analytics at all.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@sky-glide.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
